Home PageElecTech is a network optimisation and technology prioritisation tool for residential electrification projects. It is used to make decisions regarding appropriate Medium Voltage and Low Voltage technologies and the Voltage levels for new residential developments.
ElecTech creates a network model comprising of a number of medium voltage lines that provide supply to residential towns. It creates a large project list that uses all possible combinations of technology and conductors.
Load flow calculations are performed for each project option to establish workable medium voltage backbone projects. The internal electrification of the residential towns is then completed using the MV load flow results and viable technology options for the low voltage networks.
A bill of material is presented for each project and prioritised on cost from where the user can make the decision regarding the preferred technology choice.
